White Family      It has been a real privilege to work in youth ministry for over ten years.  I can’t think of a more exciting way to serve God!  I’ve been blessed to have had opportunities to lead worship, organize Vacation Bible School and take groups to Youth Camp.

     God saw fit to give me a wonderful wife nearly nine years ago!  Since then my wife, Angie, and I have seen two more added to our family.  Our daughter, Faith, will be three this summer.  Our son, Jack, is one year old.

     Let me share with you how we came to serve with the wonderful people of Trussville Southside Baptist Church!  Most recently I was teaching a young adults class at our church in Ohio.  My wife and I were praying for another opportunity to minister to teenagers.   God saw fit to use the internet to connect us with Trussville Southside Baptist Church.  In August 2007, we came to candidate for the youth pastor position, and immediately felt right at home.  A month later the church called us to come work with the youth.

    Since September, we have watched God pave the way for us to be a part of the ministry of Trussville Southside Baptist Church.   The church and the young people have embraced our family, and have made us feel like we grew up right here at Southside.

    I would invite you to visit with us and see how God’s people, doing God’s work, God’s way can make a difference in your life.   It doesn’t matter if you’re 13 or 31, you’ll find a home at Trussville Southside Baptist Church!
